Keri DeBoer, LCSW
Keri DeBoer Keri specializes in working with adolescents and adults on a broad range of issues and has a strong cognitive behavioral approach to therapy. Some of her specialty areas are: mood disorders, anxiety, conduct issues, parent/child conflict, ADHD, sexual abuse recovery, PTSD, adolescent issues, women’s issues, spirituality issues, and grief and loss.
Keri was born in Moses Lake, Washington and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She received her Bachelors in Social Work from University of Alaska Anchorage in 1985, while also playing collegiate basketball. Keri earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from University of Hawaii Manoa in 1987 while making time to play plenty of sand volleyball. Keri began as a Clinical Social Worker at Charter North Psychiatric Hospital working with their chemical dependency programs, adult mental health unit, and eventually helped develop and clinically lead their adolescent residential treatment program. In 1992, she moved into full time private practice while working and managing a mental health contract with Elmendorf Air force Base Hospital. Keri has also provided contract work for South Central Counseling Center and Behavioral Medicine of Alaska.
